The Daytona Section's April meeting will take place on Thursday April 24 at 5:30 pm at Houligans in Daytona Beach Meet & Greet 5:30 PM, Italian Buffet 6:00 PM, Presentations 6:30 PM Houligans Daytona Beach 1725 W International Speedway Blvd Daytona Beach, FL 32114 Our annual student recognition meeting is happening on April 24, 2025. As is our custom, we will be honoring our Section's Special Award winners from the Tomoka Science and Engineering Fair which was held at the end of January at Stetson University. Afterwards, we will be having presentations and demonstrations from Bethune-Cookman University and the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University project teams. The presentation will be preceded with an Italian Buffet. The Italian Buffet dinner is free for student IEEE members, ERAU and BCU student presenters, Science Fair winners and parents. Buffet cost is $15 for IEEE members and their guests. Note the new location for our April meeting. Houligans is located opposite the Volusia Mall on International Speedway Blvd. We have reserved a private room off the main dining area for our meeting. RSVPs for the buffet are required to allow us to order the proper amount from the food service. Please respond by 12 PM noon on Monday April 21st to ensure your reservation. Give your name and the number of people in your party and indicate if you are attending for both food and presentations or just the presentations.
